Update.

Good evening,

Following the release of our monthly Beat Newsletter on Neighbourhood Link yesterday, the team received a message from a local resident regarding concerns in the area. I contacted the resident today to discuss these concerns further, and as a result I have been out this evening on foot patrol.

I conducted patrols around Halsted Park, where no issues were identified. I did speak with a number of young people in the area, and the engagement was positive.

I have also carried out a further foot patrol around Mountsorrel Memorial Park, following the reports of ASB and criminal damage from the weekend before last.

As we move into the summer months, I kindly ask residents to continue reporting any concerns or incidents you witness in our public open spaces. This helps the Beat Team build a clear picture of what is happening across the village and ensures we can direct our resources effectively.
